Hi! I'm Morgan!
I am a junior and in my second year writing for The Redwood Bark. My favorite aspects of the program are meeting new people in the community and covering the news. Outside of my commitment to journalism, I play for Redwood’s varsity water polo and swim team and am an avid surfer.

2023-2024
Cub Bark Editor-in-Chief
As Cub EIC, I worked with my classmates to create the 2024 Cub Edition, led classes, edited articles, and led the paste-up process. Being Cub EIC helped me see the dedication it takes to be a leader in the Bark class which inspired me to continue the program.
2024-2025 Semester 1
News Editor
I worked as a news editor by facilitating the 24 hour stories, editing stories in my class, and laying out and learning how to use Indesign as a first time section editor.
2024-2025 Semester 2
Sports Editor
I worked as a sports editor by facilitating the 24 hour stories, editing stories and taking on stories for my section, layed out multiple pages on Indesign at each paste-up, and teaching the other sports editors how to edit articles and use Indesign.
FUN FACTS
- I am a captain on both the Redwood varsity water polo team and swim team
- I have been in Redwood leadership since I was a freshman and am going to be Senior Class President for the 2025-2026 school year
- Journalism is my passion and I plan on pursuing it in college
- I love to travel and explore new places
- My favorite thing about the Bark is interviewing people and getting to know them personally
- I am a Co-Facilitator of the Marin Prom Boutique and ran it for my junior year and plan to do the same my senior year
- I won Best Solo Reporter of 2024 by the Headliners in Education
