Below are the snapshots I have taken in the 2024-2025 school year that got put onto the Redwood Bark Instagram.
Snapshot Semester 1
On September 16, all fall sports teams and athletes prepared for team photos that will be put into the 2024-2025 yearbook. The girls' cross country team lines up in height order as they are preparing to get their photo taken.
Snapshot Semester 2
The Marin Prom Boutique, sponsored by Redwood High School and other schools around Marin, begin to fill the racks with dresses. Freshman Liv Fargo spends her afternoon with other leadership students to get the store ready for customers to come complete their prom looks. The boutique will open the weekend of March 8 and 9, and be open every weekend until the last weekend of March. If anyone has prom apparel that they would like to donate, drop them off in the Redwood front office. The items must be new or lightly worn.
Snapshot Semester 2
Senior Ethan Garfola douses senior Owen Pritchard in honor of the University of South Carolina (USC) Speak Your Mind Challenge, raising awareness for mental health. The trend is similar to 2014, when people nationwide spread awareness about the terminal disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) on social media by doing the ice bucket challenge.
