Peer Tutoring Nonfiction

A way that I wanted to fill my schedule up this year was by teaching the next generation of journalists. Being a peer tutoring this year was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have learned so much about how to teach a class, answer hard questions, and work as a leader to teach people that are just learning something for the first time.

Dear Morgan,

Thank you so much for being an amazing Barkie and teammate. You answer my questions so quickly and I always know that I can rely on you to make my article 10x better. The energy that you bring to everything you do is so inspiring. I'm so grateful to have you as my Barkie and captain. You work yourself so hard and that work does not go unnoticed. Thank you for making me a better journalist, player, and person.
