Design

Since I was a Cub EIC during Nonfiction, I never got the chance to touch InDesign before this year. The first paste-up of this year was definitely a struggle for me where it took me 6 hours to get one page glossy. Throughout the year, I have started to challenge myself even more and taking on more pages per cycle to become an "expert" in Indesign. I helped the Cub Sports Eds during their paste up to help them layout advanced pages with text wrapping and dominant photos. This summer, I hope to take up a position on the Daily Cal as layout designer to get even more experience with InDesign and become more comfortable with advanced page layouts.
